As I write this I'm at my father's home staying with him and his wife. As you know my father doesn't have very long to live although at this moment he is doing extremely well.

Pastor Keith asks how the kingdom of God has reached us in ordinary life. For me and many of my siblings it is being given an opportunity to reconnect with our Dad because of his illness. We have once again discovered the treasure that we feel was hidden from us for sometime and we rejoice! I thank God daily for this opportunity and the blessing that he has given to us because of Dad's illness for without it we would not be where we are today; spending time with him and his wife, hearing stories and reliving memories of long ago, establising a relationship with them both. Thanks be to God!!
