SPARK: Faith Formation News
1) The kids are singing during worship on Sunday, the 26th of Feb. The song is: “He’s Got the Whole World in His Hands.” Please have your children to Zion by 9:10 that Sunday in order to be able to run through the song once before the service starts. The kids can sit with their parents that Sunday and just come forward when it is time to sing.
2) There will be NO SPARK Faith Formation on Ash Wednesday, February 22. The worship service on that evening will begin at 6:30.
3) There will be SPARK Faith Formation on the Wednesday evenings of Soup Suppers. It will begin at 6:00, after the supper is finished, and will take place during the worship service. It will last only a half hour and will not include music time.

Harvest of Hope Community Garden
We had our first meeting this year for the community garden on January 31st. Plans were discussed for the fence, point, size of the garden, garden shed, sign, and raised beds. As of right now, we plan to again have one large community area. It is possible that we may be adding individual plots in the future. This year we would like to have flowers, herbs, and a kids section. We are looking for people to help us create another successful year. Please join us at our next meeting on February 21st at 6:00 p.m. If you have questions or would like to get involved contact Amanda Litts 715.938.0938 or Sarah Rabideau 715.938.2218.
NEWCAP Donations
Our NEWCAP collection theme during the month of FEBRUARY is “Souper Bowl.” We are collecting all kinds of soups. Your donations will be given to the NEWCAP local food pantry.

Youth Stock Sale
The stock sale has begun for our youth that will be attending the ELCA National Youth Gathering in New Orleans this July. This is a fun way for members of our congregation to make an investment in these youth of Zion. The purchase of this stock does so much more than just provide money for a trip. It is a way to have a sense of ownership in this mission trip. In addition to the joy of helping our youth, stock holders will also receive a stock holder certificate, along with newsletters before the trip, a postcard while they are on the trip, and a stock holders dinner after the trip. (You don’t get any of that when you purchase Green Bay Packer stock!) Each share of stock is $15, or two shares for $25. For more information, please contact Carla Clark at 715.732.0002 or Lisa Knopik at 715.735.3994.
