We will be holding a worship service this evening beginning at 7:30 on Facebook Live. There will be hymns and times of prayer as well as the traditional extinguishing of the lights and the reading of the Seven Last Words that Jesus spoke from the cross. You are not only invited to join us but also to consider ways that you might extinguish lights in your house, or possibly extinguish 7 candles as we will do in our worship area.
Worship on Sunday will also be available through FB Live at 9:30 a.m. I’m thrilled to share with you that Bill Tipple will be playing trumpet to some of our hymns. “Yay!! Thanks Bill!”
This is a strange and difficult time. Who could ever imagine not being together on at this holiest time of the year. And yet, how Christ-like we are as we sacrifice our time together and the familiar not only for our sake, but, more importantly, for the sake of countless others in our community. Christ is with us even when we cannot be together physically.
A blessed Easter to you all.
